The Department of the Air Force Space Systems Command is seeking whitepaper responses from commercial space providers to inform a potential real‑property outgrant for a Mission Development Zone (MDZ) at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The MDZ would support spaceport‑related activities such as payload processing, manufacturing, logistics and other infrastructure needed to expand U.S. launch capability.
