The Department of Defense, via Naval Air Systems Command, plans to award Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation a sole‑source IDIQ for engineering, sustainment and logistical support of the MQ‑4C Triton unmanned aircraft system used by the U.S. Navy and Royal Australian Air Force. The effort covers non‑recurring engineering, software and cyber sustainment, logistics, trade studies and related technical activities to keep the high‑performance UAV operational for several years.
