Summary

The Missile Defense Agency seeks proposals to apply Very Large Array (VLA) techniques to existing power transmission infrastructure for detecting and tracking unknown sources as part of a resilient missile defense system. The effort emphasizes innovative, neuromorphic data processing and turning electrical grids into distributed sensing arrays, with Phase I–III milestones toward a TRL‑6 prototype.
