Summary

The Department of the Navy (NAVAIR) intends to procure an Automated Scanning System from NDT Solutions for use by its Air Systems Group Material Engineering Division Nondestructive Inspection Branch. The system will incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze phased‑array ultrasonic data for defect detection, sizing, and characterization in composite bond lines, supporting MQ‑4C inspections.
